The high-quality Roto NT Tilt&Turn hardware system is suitable for a wide range of window shapes made of wood, plastic and aluminium with sash weights of up to 150 kg. The hardware meets the highest requirements in terms of security, user comfort, durability and design. A wide range of products and accessories allows for special window solutions for any room, e.g. living room windows, comfort windows, windows for children's rooms, etc.

All components of the Roto NT modular system are compatible with each other and can be combined in a multitude of combinations to meet a variety of customer requirements.

Roto NT locking system concept

The basic principle of the Roto NT locking system consists of the simple addition of centre locks with security locking rollers and security strikers:

• The standard strikers can easily be replaced by anti-balance strikers.
• All types of rollers can be combined with the same attachments.
• All strikers have the same screw centre distance
• Roto NT is certified in accordance with DIN 18104-2 as security hardware for retrofitting ready-made windows
• Roto NT is certified to DIN EN 1627-1630 for plastic and timber profiles.

 

RotoSil coating

All Roto NT hardware components are protected as standard with the unique RotoSil coating technology. The starting material is subjected to galvanisation and nanoparticle passivation, followed by varnishing.

• Optimal corrosion protection due to the ability to self-heal in the event of minor scratches
• The RotoSil Nano coating exhibits "extraordinarily high resistance to red rust" and thus exceeds the requirements of DIN EN 13126/8 Class 5 in accordance with EN 1670:2007 by several times
• The coating technology does not contain Chromium VI compounds and is harmless to health and the environment

Roto NT special coating

The special Roto NT coating provides maximum resistance to extreme environmental influences. Each NT component individually undergoes topcoat security painting after basic galvanic treatment.

• Maximum corrosion protection for operational reliability and durability
• Resistance to aggressive acids, gases and alkalis
• The Roto NT special coating demonstrates "extremely high corrosion resistance under extreme environmental conditions" and exceeds the requirements of DIN EN 13126/8 Class 5 (highest class) according to EN 1670:2007 by several times

Additional equipment

Counter-rotating centre lock

Attempts to force the window by leveraging and sliding the hardware from the outside are effectively counteracted by the centre lock. Two mushroom locking cams anchor simultaneously on both sides of the security striker, which significantly increases security.

Hook bolt in steel

For maximum security and burglary resistance of windows and balcony / terrace doors. The hardened steel hook rods anchor completely into the particularly stable steel strikers on the frame.

Safety window (for children's rooms)

Thanks to Tiltfirst technology, the sash is locked in the tilted position in the horizontal handle position. Only by using a key can the opening lock be released and the handle turned upwards.

Central espagnolette Plus

In the case of the new Roto NT lever-operated lever-operated espagnolette Plus from the Roto NT range, the lever operates particularly easily and conveniently as it opens vertically into the hardware bar. The elegant shape of the soft plastic-coated lever provides a pleasant tactile experience. In the open position, the lever hardly protrudes above the sash rebate (170°).

Adjustment of tilt size

The tilt restrictor allows the sash to be set in two positions: you can choose between a tilt of 80 or 140 mm - for ventilation to suit your tastes.

Electric drive for windows

The concealed Roto E-Tec Drive electric tilt and lock drive integrated in the hardware perimeter allows the windows to be tilted and locked automatically by means of sensors, timers or intelligent home systems. The window can also be opened manually at any time with the handle.

Magnetic latch

Magnetic latch

The magnetic latch makes the balcony door close almost automatically when lightly pushed. Thanks to the magnet, the closed door is held so firmly that there is no need to close it with the handle every time you go out onto the balcony. Can even be fitted to a finished window, excellent for balcony and terrace doors.

Comfort' window

The longer handle lever and the integrated tilt and lock override in the Roto NT Comfort hardware mean that even large and heavy windows can be opened without the slightest effort. There is no need to pull on the sash when opening or press it down when closing.

Hook for microventilation

The Roto NT micro-ventilation ensures a constant exchange of air thanks to a small ventilation gap in the tilted position. The 2/3-stage microventilation, on the other hand, enables a small tilt angle to be set as an alternative to the standard tilt.

Multi-stage tilt

By turning the handle through 45°, the sash can be locked in almost any tilt position, including the integrated tilt stabiliser. The integrated handle misalignment lock prevents operating errors in the tilt position.

Handle-operated opening brake

The handle-operated opening brake allows the open balcony door or window to be conveniently locked in any position between 15° and 90° by turning the handle downwards.

 

The modular Roto NT hardware system consists of precisely matched components and offers a wealth of possibilities for reacting flexibly to differing customer requirements and wishes.

This single hardware system allows products to be realised in all market segments - from standard hardware with basic burglary protection to advanced solutions in the comfort and premium segments.
