Interview with the new GM PLAST sales director Mateusz Szymanowicz
GM PLAST is a modern joinery factory, using the latest technological solutions in the production process. This factory has recently got a new commercial director - Mateusz Szymanowicz. In order to learn more about Mr Mateusz's plans and aspirations, we asked him a few questions. We invite you to read more.
Katarzyna Rutkowska: Mr Mateusz, you have taken on the role of commercial director at the GM PLAST - What challenges do you face in your new position?
Taking up the position of Commercial Director at GM PLAST
This is a great honour for me. It is a responsibility I take seriously and I am excited to start this new journey. I face a number of challenges in my new role, such as developing strong client relationships, expanding our network and developing our business ambitions. It is also my responsibility to make sure that our work meets the highest standards of quality and that we take pride in all aspects of our work.
Another challenge for me is to properly understand the client and their needs. I am young and I learn something new every day. Every day I spend at work gives me a lot of experience, but I actually learn the most when I meet and talk to clients. Everyone needs to be approached individually, everyone has different needs and requirements, so it's important to have the right approach and understanding. It's also important to keep up with the pace of change. The window industry has taught me that it is very dynamic and changes frequently, so you have to learn to keep up with these changes and not get left behind.
Taking on this position is a great opportunity for me to take on more responsibility and further develop my skills. I am confident that I will rise to these challenges and make the GM PLAST

How do you intend to contribute to the development of GM PLAST?
Being part of GM PLAST
I intend to contribute to the development of the company by helping to increase sales, acquire new customers and build the brand online. I also plan to help with software adaptation, marketing and advertising strategies, employee motivation and organisation. My aim is to ensure competitiveness GM PLAST
in the industry by creating innovative solutions for our customers.
Furthermore, as a young professional with fresh ideas, I believe I can bring a lot of value to our company. My main goal is to expand the company's market reach and customer base. To this end, I will analyse current market trends and customer feedback to develop effective marketing strategies to attract new customers and increase sales. In addition, I will focus on building strong relationships with existing and potential clients, as well as creating effective advertising campaigns to help GM PLAST
stand out from the crowd. In addition, I will work closely with other departments to ensure that our products and services meet or exceed customer expectations.
Additionally, I plan to develop relationships with our key customers and suppliers. Ultimately, I will strive to create an effective team that works together to achieve the set goals. I will work to ensure that the company is well positioned in the market and offers products and services that meet the needs of current and future customers. increase brand visibility and recognition. My goal is to build a sustainable business model that will ensure the company's long-term success.
What are your personal aspirations and ambitions?
My ambitions at the moment are to develop and grow the company's client base, build relationships with key clients, increase revenues and profits, and create a positive working environment for all employees. I also want to create innovative strategies and plans to expand the company's market presence while maintaining high customer satisfaction. To achieve these goals, I will focus on building a strong team, developing new products and services that are in high demand, and using technology to increase productivity.

I am keen to bring fresh ideas and strategies. I am committed to growing the company from the commercial side of the business by exploring new markets and establishing myself in existing ones. I am committed to increasing sales and providing exceptional customer service. I am also passionate about finding innovative ways to use technology to automate processes and increase efficiency. By developing effective marketing plans, I will aim to create a positive brand image and make our windows more accessible to customers.
How would you describe the current market situation? What are the problems facing joinery manufacturers today?
The current market situation can be described as competitive and demanding. Window and door manufacturers face a number of challenges, such as rising raw material costs, increasing competition and rising customer expectations. In addition, manufacturers need to stay ahead of market trends in order to remain competitive, while finding ways to reduce costs while maintaining quality. They also need to find ways to differentiate themselves from the competition in order to stand out and attract customers. In addition, there is a growing demand for energy-efficient windows and doors, which requires manufacturers to invest in research and development to keep up with the latest developments in this field.
What new products can we expect from GM PLAST this year?

Fireproof doors and windows will be on offer. We have recently introduced a very innovative solution to our doors, namely an automatic multi-point locking system that allows doors to be opened remotely via an intercom, telephone or radio access systems - such as a remote control or fingerprint reader. Another very interesting solution is SmartTouch access, which avoids you having to search for your keys - all you need is a SmartKey in your pocket or handbag. The KeylessGo function enables convenient keyless opening by simply touching the stainless steel door handle.
We have a wide range of modern facade blinds and roller shutters. We have implemented a new pergola system into the range, which has a hidden drive in the rafters, which we can control remotely using our phone. In addition, we have recently started producing windows on the very high quality modern 7-chamber German Kommerling 88 MD and Kommerling 70 AD profiles. We have also introduced Aluclip aluminium caps for our PVC windows, which provide a modern aluminium look from the outside, while inside we can enjoy the warmth of PVC.
